This piece of carved ivory is decorated with coloured stones and gold. It was found at Nimrud and was originally part of a piece of furniture.



This sculpture decorated a wall in the palace of Sennacherib's grandson, Ashurbanipal. It probably shows the front of Sennacherib's palace with columns resting on the backs of lions.
